This engineered flooring with aged finishes offers all the advantages of solid wood with affordable installation. It matches perfectly all type of decoration, no matter the color of the furnitures and walls.
Carbonised flooring : With this finish, the wood's surface is exposed to a torch: the wood is carbonised on the surface but remains natural deeper down. This process allows a unique result that you cannot get with a stain treatment.
The wood is brushed along the grain to remove its soft parts. The "brushed" finish makes the surface slightly irregular to the touch, so the wood's texture is highlighted. This finish works best in rooms where there is heavy traffic, because scratches and scrapes are less noticeable due to the floor's irregularity.
Natural oil brings out the wood's natural finish, whilst at the same time forming a fine protective film. As a thin fluid, it naturally penetrates deep into the wood's fibres and allows the wood to breathe. Like a moisturising cream on human skin, it becomes one with the wood. An oil-treated wooden floor offers numerous advantages. In particular, it is more resistant to wear and tear. Scratches can easily be removed using products designed for the purpose, making it possible to carry out partial renovations to your floor.
Engineered multiplis flooring : Noble wood glued onto a multiply wood base of 6 layers of real wood. The main advantage of engineered wood flooring is its dimensional stability: the cross-ply construction means the wood is largely unaffected by swelling and does not warp significantly.
