Smoked parquet : This finish is an alternative to older wood with colours that have been weathered over time. This treatment speeds up the aging process of wood's natural colours and depending on whether it contains knots or sapwoods, can achieve different colour shades. Moreover, the weathering effects become more pronounced and improve with time, revealing the wood'score. As opposed to surface stained floors, parquets smoked by oxidation are stained deeper and provide a more unique and sustainable colour.
In the style of oldtime parquet, bevels are hammered and are known as broken edges to give an unequal and irregular effect.
This engineered flooring with aged finishes offers all the advantages of wood with affordable installation.
It matches perfectly all type of decoration, no matter the color of the furnitures and walls.
