Wood specie & finishing
UPM ProFi Lifecycle is a wood composite designed using state-of-the-art technology. Recycled fibers from American white and red oaks are heat-treated and encapsulated in a hard polymer matrix before natural cooling. This process requires more time than conventional wood-plastic composite production. It provides a blade of exceptional stability and strength, protected in its heart. Compared with conventional wood-plastic composite boards, the closed surface is also more resistant to oil splashes and stains.
Solid composite profile obtained by extrusion.
Choice: 1 smooth grained face + 1 striated face.
Environment: 95% of the materials used in the manufacture of blades are recycled, including oak fibers and plastic polymers.
Giving these high-quality materials a second life reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills or incinerated.
No PVC is used in the manufacture of UPM ProFi Lifecycle and the material itself is fully recyclable.
UPM ProFi Lifecycle offers a sustainable alternative to materials commonly used for terracing.
It does not require painting or dyeing, which avoids the pollutants generally associated with this type of products.

The composite strips completely renew the concept of resistance to scratches, stains and discoloration,
while playing with warmth and naturalness on the authenticity of the grain of hardwoods.
The Life cycle collection offers 4 decors and is aimed at the owner in search of a good quality-price ratio.
Covered with a fully waterproof polymer protection, the blades are virtually insensitive to the weather and accidents that are the daily lot of all terraces.
In terms of durability, the composite boards are rot-proof and require very little maintenance.
Resistance to scratches, stains and discoloration are total, while playing with warmth and naturalness on the authenticity of the grain of hardwoods.
Composite decking boards are most often covered with a completely waterproof, weather-resistant polymer protection that all terraces undergo.
They are recommended for their density and durability in the face of external aggressions. their color and beauty for many years.
they do not require any protection or maintenance of any kind. Available in a wide range of tropical or natural wood decorations,

Depending on the configuration of the place that hosts it, the implementation of the wooden deck will have to be adapted.
A wooden deck can be installed on a slab, on foundation studs or height-adjustable studs on which [...] Laying deck boards

Care and Maintenance
Common maintenance of composite wood boards: UPM ProFi Lifecycle requires no sanding, varnishing or annual treatment. While most stains and splashes are easy to wipe, we recommend regular water jet cleaning (see UPM ProFi Lifecycle cleaning instructions). The pigments and manufacturing process used to design Lifecycle blades preserve the color of the material, unlike many other composites that age more over time. Blades spin slowly until they become natural in the first six months after installation
